price paid:740.00 USD
positive:Best color, sharpness, rate of focus, and build of ANY lens I've ever used or owned- including the newer "faster" versions of these.
negative:Minimum focusing distance could be shorter.
comment:If you're lucky enough to find this version of this, sell an organ if you have to, and BUY IT!
My copy had been pretty beat up, and had a broken helacoid- 100 bucks at KEH.com and I was set.
Though this lens has a little more specific use, it is THE BEST hunk of glass I've ever touched. Did I mention I'm a fan.
