Fast focusing

comment:It took me a while to get the hang of this lens. Its high geared AF combined with the A77's powerful AF motor can be handful. The combined torque can actually twist the camera and lens in your hand if you're not prepared. I also struggled with the AF at close range which was very hit and miss and found manual focus far better in these situations.

However, once its frisky nature is understood, it is a great lens for capturing fast action and low light scenarios.

It can exhibit some chromatic aberration is certain circumstances but DxO Optics Pro's profile neutralise this and enhance sharpness brilliantly.

I'll update when I've tried this lens on my A700 and some of my film bodies.
