negative:I personally don't like round lens hoods
comment:I was in doubt between this lens and the Sigma with USM for my A99, went for this one after reading the Dyxum reviews and I'm not disappointed.
Great lens, perfect for portraits. I was considering the 135 STF for the bokeh but the manual focus only put me off. This lens is amazing, it can back focus but the A99 has micro adjustment so no problem. Having tried focus peak with this lens in manual focus I realised it's nearly impossible to take candid portraits because people are always moving around.
All in all, perfect portrait lens! Even at f1.4 with that kind of glow (although it's very easy to get the eyes out of focus!)
