comment:It was my first G-lens. I used it on A100 for portraits. And i can say that it's perfect in this. Colors, skintones, sharpness, bokeh very very good in portrait shooting. Zeiss lens (85 and 135) in my opinion are better in resolution, contrast, colors 85za have better bokeh than 85G (in my opinion).

This lens is not a universal instrument such as 50/1.4, CA level and slow AF speed is not big problem in portrait shooting, but in other situations it may be negative.
