compared to: | Samyang 8mm 2.8 APS-C lens, not a full frame. Sony 24-105mm f4 G lens, Samyang 24mm f1.8 lens |
price paid: | £179 |
positive: | Sharp, very well build for the price, pleasure to use. |
negative: | I am not sure it is negative as a fisheye lens it has distortion but you have to embrace it - 11mm length will give you distortion anyway. |
comment: | Beautiful lens. Once you have it in your hand you will be impressed by quality.Picture quality is fantastic as long as you want something more artistic. Be ready to embrace the distortion, actually that is why I bought the fisheye lens on first place. |

compared to: | Minolta 16mm f2.5 fisheye; Samyang A mount 14mm f2.8, Samyang 8mm f3.5 (apsc) |
price paid: | 325 USD |
positive: | Cheap full frame fisheye lens. The image quality is much better than comparable lenses. It is full frame and 11mm. Circular fisheye |
negative: | The build quality left a little to be desired. Some screws had to be tightened. |
comment: | Fantasic IQ for an averagely assembled lens. Once it was on my camera;.......I was completely happy with it. |
