comment: | I had been waiting for months for this lens to become "available soon" as it continued to be promised. I ordered it direct from buyrokinon.com with another Lens Station thrown in for free. "MADE IN KOREA" Initial testing is very good--comparable to the large Tamron SP 35mm F1.8 with somewhat more vignette. It is sharper at F2.8 than their little 35 F2.8. AF-S accuracy is good. It has more CA than the F2.8 primes. The Sony FE 35 F1.8 is sharper in the corners wide-open, but the corners on this lens improve more stopped down. There seems to be a minor misalignment which causes the left side to be not as sharp as the right side. The Sony is more even. It shows less chromatic aberration than the Sony. |
