comment:Like-new Rokinon branded version in retail box purchased from an individual on I've been using an EF-mount version for Yongnuo 50 F1.4 which is pretty good optically but uses a very basic DC motor. Unlike more recent Samyang lenses, this lens has an alloy outer shell. It is approximately the same size as the Yongnuo on an adapter but 100 g lighter.

It has more chromatic aberration in the extreme corners than the old 6 element planar designs, but it is well controlled within the 1:1 square. It is not as sharp wide-open as the ZA's or the Yongnuo, but it is much sharper than the Sigma EX or the old film planars. It is not unlike an F1.4 version of the Sony FE 50mm F1.8.
