comment:It's a great lens. Apart from its unique selling point - the only tilt/shift in A-mount, it's a very good wide angle lens, sharp wide open. That makes it an extremely versatile lens. I used it as my prime for Oktoberfest 2013 because you can do so much with this lens.

It's a pleasure to work with this lens on the A99. No problems with the pentaprism so full shift is possible. And with peaking and focus magnification you can see where the focus is; very useful with tilt!

Bokeh is not bad at all. And with a MFD of 20mm you can make beautiful environmental macros.
I also have the Mirex Tilt/Shift adapter I can use with my Mamiya 645 lenses, but the widest is only 35mm. 24mm is much better!

Build is not so good, but I can live with that as long as the IQ is as good as it is. Flare is sth to watch out for, but a hood or a hand is a good remedy.
