ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Minolta AF 200 2.8 G APO HS
Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 II EX DG APO MACRO HSM
price paid:950 € (new)
positive:Very sharp from F5.6 onwards
Sharp at F4
Good build
No moving front lens
negative:No focus limiter
AF slow compared to HSM
Requires +16 MF adjustment on my A900
comment:In the full zoom range from F5.6 onwards at the level of a prime lens
In the range of 100 - 200 mm already at F4 at the level of a prime lens
AF good with A700 and A900 but slow compared to Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 II EX DG APO MACRO HSM
