ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sigma 100-400 DG DN OS Contemporary.
price paid:€950 (SH)
positive:Looong range from 150 to 600mm.
Range starts earlier than the Sony 200-600.
Different locks for zooming: none, tight or locked.
f5 at 150mm.
second strap. Try to combine lengths of straps so you can have both around your neck or shoulder.
negative:Heavy weight, difficult to hold with one hand obviously.
The tight zoom locking is a bit to tight, you can feel the play in the mount when holding the camera and zooming. Better is to hold the tripod mount and then zoom with the other hand.
comment:A beast of a lens, but, maybe in my specimen, not as sharp as I hoped for, compared to the smaller Sigma 100-400 DG DN OS Contemporary. Maybe I need more practicing.
If you don't mind walking with a fat lens (2100grams!) you have a nice one.
