comment: | I think this is a highly underrated lens for the price and easily replaces 18-70 kit. I was pleasantly surprised by the colors and contrast. Sharpness also belies the price. I'm looking for a lightweight foreign travel do-all lens and after testing this, I feel pretty confident. Performance at wide angle is also a pleasant surprise, with some expected distortion, but respectably sharp stopped down. Bright background like sky will show some vignette at 18mm with slim pro-1 filter. |
