comment: | This lens is pretty sharp even wide open and razor sharp above F8. My copy is actually pretty sharp at 18mm, corner to corner even at F3.5. Excellent performance for such a low-cost lens. This lens produces nice colours and contrast. In terms of value for money you would find it difficult to better this lens. On APS-C it's quite usable wide open because the corners aren't that important anymore. The range is very useful on APS-C. I'm very pleased with this lens. AF is faster then the AF from the minolta and sony kit lens. |
