comment:After the lovely 30mm F2.8 Art, I was hoping for similar performance from it's slightly larger brother. I also purchased a second well used copy for $123. This copy had some obvious tilt as the right side is much sharper than the left.

The Sony E 20mm F2.8 pancake is better stopped down across the frame. The Sigma is good for centered subjects wide-open. This behavior is at odds with uses suggested by their physical size difference. The A-mount 16-50mm F2.8 SSM kit zoom has much better image quality than either of these but does't work well with E-mount cameras.
