negative:big and heavy

flare can be a problem (tiny hood)
comment:Impressive size. Might be too big to be walkaround lens.
2.8 aperture. Softer and lower contrast at 2.8 especially in 60-70mm range, but still usable. Very good at F4. Good minimal focus distance (sigma calls it macro). Colors are neutral and less saturated than minolta. Bokeh is good in out of focus areas, but can produce "bokeh CA", especially at 70/2.8

But!! After some time discovered decentering problem - top of the frame is very soft at 60-70, at all apertures. During warranty sent in for repair, but sigma returned money instead (unfortunately they had no another lens to replace).
