+Rich,saturated, & contrasty colours

-Clumsy MF clutch
comment:Optically this lens is great. Decently sharp throughout aperture and zoom range. Distortions are low. I love images it produces: contrasty and colourful. Though some won't like the warm cast.

The biggest turnoff about the Sigma 24-70/2.8 is its build. It's bulky, front-heavy, and ugly. Also the Canon-esque manual focus ring switch is useless on the a-mount.
