comment:What this lens has going for it, is feature wise, this lens is the next closest thing to the CZ 24-70mm at around half the price. It has the desirable 24-70mm focal range and (near) silent & accurate AF. Good solid build quality (with the weight to match). All positives over the Tamron 28-75mm BUT the potential deal breaker here is the cheaper Tamron is meaningfully sharper wide open (especially at the long end).

If the prices were similar I would say it's a toss up between superior AF & focal length vs the extra sharpness of the Tamron. However with the price of the Tamron being a fair bit cheaper IMO it does tip the scales in favour of the Tamron unless you had your heart set on having the lens start at 24mm.
