comment: This lens has impressed me. It is very sharp, by direct comparison only fractionally less sharp than the 24-70 Zeiss. I had opportunity to try both consecutively at Ritz. I have no complaints. It is worth every dime I gave for it. I have experienced no hunting or slow focusing. Sounds like Sigma is having fit and finish problem in US. I have heard other top end high end manufacturer having similar problems though.
