comment:This is a great lens. For some the 24 is oddly between 20mm and 28mm primes. As i had non of the three, i chose the 24 as it was wider than the 28 but still almost as cheap. It is usable wide open, tough i have not tested it to show how sharp it is from edge to edge. This lens can not be called soft. It uses large 77mm filters, but thats not very surprising considering the max aparature. It is a bit bulky if one expected a 50mm prime size, tough i do like supporting my camera from the lens, so the size is often welcome. I have not had much problems with flare, but i do not usually cause any with any lenses. I normaly use a CPL with this lens.

The case that came for the lens looks very protective, as it is padded on the top and bottom and does hold the lens tight in place. It does not have much of padding on the sides tough, and i seldomly use it as i do not have a belt to fasten it to.

A lens i can recommed if the focallenght appeals.
