ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sigma 24mm F2.8
Minolta 28mm F2.8
Minolta 50mm F1.7
Minolta 70-210 F4
price paid:30 USD (Used)
positive:-Lightweight
-Sharp for closeups
-1:2 macro is pretty good
-Inexpensive
-Handles flare well
negative:-Not at all sharp for longer distance shots
-The mount looks like metal, but is actually plastic
comment:I have the 28-90mm version of what I'm pretty certain is the same lens.

Based on its cost and use for any sort of distance shots, it's now relegated for use as a reverse macro lens, for which it performs quite well.
