negative:- Heavy
- Does not work on all film cameras. - See comment.
- AF/MF switch disables AF without camera notice. Triggered by a mistake - can happen with the not good designed position of the switch - the AF on the camera ran, but the lens itself is in MF
- Lens hood fiddely to use
comment:Works well on a 700si and 9000.

Dynax 7 hung up, when camera powered on with the lens attached. Sigma does not had any firmware upgrade and the Sigma support offered only a cash back for a very small amount agains a crappy zoom. But, with a Kenko 1,4 teleconverter it worked well.

No problems on my other digital cameras (7D, a77ii and 99) - works with and without converter.
