comment:I love this lens! I bought it a few days ago and what a difference. I have been using my 50mm as a stand alone for indoor shots and I was constantly to close. My 28mm was not fast enough (in my opinion) for indoor and was tough to get a nice clear picture (could have just been my copy). Anyway, this little sigma will do nicely in my lineup.

This lens is sharper than my other two primes hands down. About the same build as the minoltas, the sigma has a better hood.
