positive:+ Sharp
+ Close focus ability
+ Large focus ring
+ Detachable tripod collar
negative:- Weight, but to be expected
- focus in poor light
comment:I bought this used (77mm) example after the earlier APO (72mm) version, and for a time had both so I could compare directly. The earlier version suffered more from CA (although it was never bad) but probably was a touch sharper. Focusing was better with this version.

It is best used on a tripod or monopod (that I use) for the best results.

What options are there if you don't want a zoom?
