ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Voigtlander 1.2/40 Nokton
Voigtalnder 2.8/40 Heliar
Sigma 2/35 Contemporary
price paid:275 euro secondhand
positive:Small & light lens, great fit for A7iii body
Build of the lens is great, mix between Loxia & modern Voigtlander
Aperture ring is great
negative:AF works good, but not great. It's not up for (fast) moving subjects.
Sunhood a quite big & feels a bit awkward when using manual focus, will get used to it after some time.
comment:After using the Sigma 2/35 from the same series and getting very good results, I just had to try this lens.
It doesn't do things much better or worse. Compaired with the 35 the AF is a bit less snappy, but distortion is controlled much better. The 45 is the smaller lens
