ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony 1.4 / 50mm
Minolta 1.7 / 50mm
price paid:€ 250 mint
positive:Speed, sharpness, bokeh, looks and overall IQ.
negative:err... okay, when I'm thinking of it; size and weight.
comment:This is the lens I sold my Sony 1.4 / 50mm for. Mostly because of the better bokeh (imho). Having it re-chipped I can use it i.c.w. the A77. This lens is for me ideal for portraitphotography. It reminds me of a Beatles song:

I want you... I want you so bad. She's so heavy!

The combination A900, this lens and a 1.7TC makes it an ideal 85mm f/2 combination for portraits. A little soft in the corners is no problem for portraits, so the loss of IQ due to the TC is taken for granted. Don 't use this combination since I own the Siggy 85mm f/1.4 doe portrait on FF.
