comment: | Earlier examples.... No better than a Good Minolta AF50 f1.7 and much more of a pain in the *** to live with. Best used as a 75mm portrait lens on cropped sensor cameras. Later examples.... I have recently acquired a late model with the smooth black finish and it is greatly improved. It's still the same size as most 85's but the new example is really sharp with great contrast, fast focusing and very quiet. |
