comment: | I have had this lens for almost a year and haven't written a review for it. "Made in Japan" The Sigma 45mm F2.8 has been my favorite normal prime for four years, and I also really like the larger 65mm F2. This lens is smaller and lighter than their 65mm and a bit larger than their 35mm F2. It is slightly smaller than the Yongnuo YN50mm F1.8S and slightly larger than the Sony FE 55mm F1.8 ZA Sonnar. It is much larger and heavier than the 45mm and the Sony 40mm and 50mm F2.5 G primes. It is not as sharp in the center as the 65mm or the Yongnuo YN50mm F1.8S DF DSM, Samyang AF 50mm F1.4 FE II or Sony FE 50mm F1.4 ZA Planar, but is similar to the Samyang AF 45mm F1.8 FE and Sony FE 55mm F1.8 ZA Sonnar. The corner are sharper and brighter than those lenses. It doesn't show the spherical aberration glow of the 45mm. |
