ownership:I own this lens
compared to:All Minolta 70-210 and 80-200 zooms
price paid:10 GBP
positive:Solidly built push-pull zoom - fine if you like them old school.
negative:Heavy push-pull zoom which doesn't autofocus on Sony DSLR bodies. Works fine with SLT bodies.
comment:I bought it in a charity shop for next to nothing. Got it home and it would not focus on my A350. Years later I plugged it on to an A58 and it worked. The push-pull is a memory jogger, but I prefer twist zooms. IQ is reasonable without being remarkable, a typical Sigma budget alternative to the camera manufacturer's offerings.
