well built,
internal focus,
focus ring does not rotate during AF,
manual focussing,
Build quality is brilliant, fast sharp zoomlens,
Case and tripod, collar and versatile hood too.
Sharp, great bokeh, good colours, fast AF. Compact size.
Good prof quality.

negative:None !
comment:Excellent and fast focusing, mine lens has been spot-on, even with the very shallow depth of field at f/2.8, very comfortable to hold .
Quick, accurate focus on A700.
Even improves with the 1.4x EX or even 2x EX converter witch I bought afterwords .
It's a bit heavy on the a700 but i don't mind because it gives my the very best pics. Almost no CA or distortion, very well controlled.
It's even sharper than the beercan at lower F stops .
Even so, I find the bokeh of this lens better than the beercan.

Certainly worth the money.
One off the best lenses sigma can offer. I'm sure that the Sony version is a better lens, but for the price I don't think this lens has any competition.
To end up :
what a lens, its one of my gems, alltough abit heavy, its very usable and a "must have" if you need a good lens and dont want to spend over 1500€ or more for a 80-200 G lens .
