comment:Initially, I wanted the APO G 70-200 f2.8 SSM, but the price is just too high, so I stumbled upon a used Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX in mint condition. Bought it and started to shoot with it. I was surprised at the AF speed that this lens has, even when it hunts a little, the AF is straight back on track. Compared to my previous setup, 20D and 70-200 f2.8 L USM, I don't notice much difference in AF speed EXCEPT when going from closest to infinity. The build quality is excellent, the glass is sharp, and I use it even on f2.8 without sharpening or postprocessing the pictures afterwards. This one is a keeper ....
