comment:This lens is not sharp wide open and needs to be stopped down to get usable pictures, especially at the longer end. On bright days, if you dont use the hood, your pictures will tend to washout a bit, also bit of a problem with flare. Feels a bit cheap and plasticky.

All the compared lenses are better in every way. Seemed to do better on film but on digital not so good.
