positive:Cheap but better than I expected!
Generally good images
negative:Nothing really, especially for the money
comment:I gave myself a budget of Ł50 for a 70-300 as I know I'll not use it all that often, and this if what I got! Im lucky, my lens is in mint condition, and considering the price Im very happy with it. The images are sharp, especially in the 70-200 range and the colour seems okay as well. The AF is generally pretty fast, only struggling occasionally and the build quality is perfectly acceptable. If you need a cheapy for occasional use then Im sure you could do a lot worse!

update april 2010

You know what, for the price, this is a pretty good bit of kit! I still don't use it regularly but when I do I always come away surprised by the results.
