AF on portraits
Hood needs to be removed for lenscap, or ou must buy a 77mm aftermarket cap.
Might be a dustcollector due to enormous length when focussing on Macro sized things
comment:I like this lens a lot. Have it on most of the time. Perfect for portraits. Verry good on flowers and bugs.

But!!! it's not an easy lens to use. on 70mm and macro the DOF is verry thin. You need a tripod and a lot of patience. I stil find it hard sometimes to get the results i want. The lens can do it, but i need to learn to be more still, patient and take my time.

All in all, a killer lens that for the money is the best thing you can buy :)
