positive: | excellent light transmission, far better than average sharpness. vg but not exc contrast and color - bargain for the money, although i see fewer of these for sale more recently. |
negative: | i'm not a fan of the push-pull zoom. |
comment: | i've had 2 of these and they both work perfectly on my slt-a65. i suspect this is because of the chip change others in this thread have reported on that sony implemented on later cameras. i have other lenses and teleconverters that did not work on my a33 that do work on the a65. |
