ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony 1.8/85
Zeiss Batis 1.8/85
Zeiss 1.4/85 ZF.2
Samyang 1.4/85
Tamron 2.8/90 SP
price paid:400 euro SH
positive:Size & weight for a short tele
Build quality
Close focus ratio
Same filter size as other Sigma i-serie lenses
negative:The lenshood is a bit large, I use the lens without it
comment:Great little lens. Shares the IQ flavour of the Sigma 45i.
AF is silent and good, maybe not as good as the latest greatest GM lenses, works for me.
Will I miss a large aperture, maybe at times. But this lens delivers wide open on sharpness and contrast.
Plus bokeh is better to my taste as the Sony 1.8/85 and Batis 1.8/85.
