Compact
Super sharp at f4
Included Hood
negative:Soft at 1.8
AF is useless in less than direct sun light
Pricy for a 35mm
comment:I dont like this lens. Too soft at 1.8, helps a ton stepping down to 2.8, even 2.2 is a huge improvement. Super sharp at f4, light drop by 8. The a3000 is less kind as your will see a drop in sharpness over the NEX standard 16mp. Auto focus might be helped by the new sensors with phase detect.

UPDATE
I have tested this lens on the A7. Works very well in APS-C mode, less good in full frame. IN FF you will be cropping a lot but you get get a 18-20mp file out of it
