comment:I tried to use it as a "one lens" option for a few times and as a landscape lens too; apart from portraits, it didn`t deliver ... it is just not sharp enough, especially for a prime lens.

I sold it and bought DP2 Merrill - apart from the sheer resulution of its sensor, its lens is living up to the reputation - plenty sharp, corner to corner at what ever distance; the only advantage of Sony was the maximum aperture
