comment:I used this lens for a while before I decided to review it because I was initially a little disappointed especially when compared to my Zeiss 85 IQ - it doesn't have the same microcontrast or uber-sharpness wide open but this is to miss the point of this lens. Apart from obviously having a totally different focal length, it has totally different qualities as a lens. I love the rendering and bokeh and the colours are great. I find it's a great "people lens". It can be used in extremely low light (ISO permitting) with great results. Always in my bag with either the 85mm ZA or the MinO 100mm. It does get cyan fringing wide-open but most ultra-wide aperture lenses suffer from this to some extent. I haven't found flare to be a problem.
