ownership:I own this lens
compared to:nothing
price paid:£999 used as new
positive:very sharp at all points, quick, quiet. great for bringing things in. can be hand held (just) but better with tripod or monopod, comes with tripod ring.
negative:heavy, white colour, filter 'door' in hood rather than filter ring. flimsy hood
comment:got cover from lenscoat to hide white colour, really nice lens but do not like 'to advertise' this fact.
Bought second hand at bargain price compared to brand new. great for bringing things in and on A99ii using crop can bring things in more. for long lens zoom on A mount very good buy.
