positive:Sharpness at normal distances, colour, handling
negative:Sharpness at or near infinity
comment:After 124 reviews up to now I don't have much to add. One thing I feel needs to be said: at or near infinity and 400mm I feel there is more contrast then resolution. I prefer resolution over micro-contrast every time as I can add contrast in postproduction (sharpening) anytime but I can't add resolution :(
I feel that this behaviour is the main reason some people don't like this lens.

Apart from the behaviour at infinity and 400mm it is a really good lens at all focallengths and distances. I really like mine.
