positive:Light, cheap, takes great images
negative:Built quality, plastic mount.
comment:I saw a bargain when Jessops was shutting down, so I decided to buy this lens. I was deciding between this and the Minolta 50 f1.7, I am so glad that I went for the Sony as I have read about lots of issues with flare on the Minolta. Amazing pictures, sharp fully open, with a sweet spot at around 2.8. Don't worry about the plastic construction, it is so light that you won't have any issues.
