ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony AF DT 35 1.8
Minolta AF 50 1.4
price paid:500 SEK = 74$
positive:good flare control, easy handling, OK bokeh. A lot of lens for the money. Great for portraits.
negative:Noisy SAM motor when filming. The colors is a little blueish, it is not as well balanced as the classic Minolta colors. The build is cheap, but so is the price.
comment:I have lent this lens to my daughter, she also needs a fast lens. It is easier to use than the flare-prone Minolta AF 50 1.4.
