ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Minolta MD f1.7 50mm
Sony 18-55 Kit lens
Minolta MD f3.5 35-70mm (macro)
price paid:130 GBP
positive:Wonderful little lens. Easy to use, brilliant colours, contrast, and bokeh is lovely.
negative:None.
comment:Forget all those gripes about the plastic mount, they don't matter if you treat your lenses with respect. This is a light, very light lens. It performs brilliantly. For the money it cannot be equaled. I have the Minolta f1.7 50mm in the manual MD mount and this little star equals it, which is saying a lot!.

If you haven't got this lens, get it. It is a star.
