ownership:I own this lens

price paid:Ł225 used.
positive:F1.8!
And the look of every picture you take.
negative:Its so heavy you can feel the body of my A300 flexing!
And its not every focal length I'll ever need.
Plus you won't be happy with cheap glass ever again.
comment:I picked this up because it was too cheap to say no. No box or hood :(

I work in theatre and its been great for catching shots onstage in low light.
Its made taking good shots almost effortless. Its also great for candids. And I really like it for portaits too, the length ends up giving really intimate framing.
It makes me look like I know what I'm doing, I just wish it was 400mm or 50mm or 11mm or.... yeah... every lens I will ever need.

If I had the cash I would just buy every Zeiss lens because of this one.

Its damn heavy!
