positive:sharp (thats a bit overused, but in this case it's true)
Uber portrait lens
Clutch on focus ring
Big generous focus ring
metal lens hood
comment:This is an uber lens for portraits. It isnt SSM, but there is a clutch on the focus ring so that it doesnt rotate when auto focussing.

Its very sharp! auto focus seems quite fast. Its the fastest 135mm you can get I think. I was deciding between this and the STF. I think the potential for bokeh is "buttery" enough on this bad boy, probably better potential than the STF because of the f/1.8, you can take portraits where the ears are already OOF but eyes are sharp.

I saw a second hand one in the shop, front section was loose. The front section just supports the hood, and it not connected to the front element. Probably because the previous owner bashed it when the heavy metal hood was attached. I didnt want that one and got a mint copy instead. Something to watch out for if buying second hand.
