comment:This lens has being my workhorse for the past 8 years and taken 1,000's of pictures from landscapes to oil refineries, overnight time lapse outdoors. Its my go to lens, just love the colours this lens produces and the sharpness once you stop down. Does have vignetting and soft edges wide open, but most 16mm lenses do. Had to have the lens serviced due to the focusing ring locking, but works fine now, although autofocusing is having a few issues, not a problem with focus peaking on the A7R. Would like to invest in the Mark 2 version soon, just need to start saving. Just a shame it flares so badly with the sun in shot, but you just have to work around.
