ownership:I used to own this lens
compared to:It covers the range of my M35F2, M24F2.8, SAL28F2.8 and M50F1.7, offers a more user friendly solution and a bit more quality.
price paid:lots new
positive:Unmatched sharpness at F5.6-8 where I intend to use it. CZ colours and contrast as expected. AF works fine, sometimes fiddly at the wide end but I tend to use MF in low light landscapes.
negative:I have read reviews that praise its built quality, but mine was heavily used and became wobbly and unsharp with barrel extended.
comment:Decided to sell it to buy a FE 4/24-105 as I wanted native mount and more range and don't need f/2.8.
