comment:I have had this lens for a year now and it's one of my favorites. The image quality is top notch.

The one thing that really annoys me about this lens is there is no zoom lock. my 18-250 can lock at 18, so when i put it in a bag, lens down, it does not extend. The CZ 24-70 does not have this... and ever one of my bags hold the camera with lens attached facing down... so when removing it from the bag, it always gets pull to it's full extension at 70mm. I don't understand why they don't add a minimum MM zoom lock to all lenses with extending barrels.
