comment:Just received this lens, so far very happy with it. It may not be the absolute sharpest 50 prime on the market i.e. FE 55 1.8, but the overall usability of the lens is excellent on A Mount. I doubt I will need anything sharper, with such nice colours and contrast, than this. All of my other lenses will be sitting in the bag for a while unused because of this lens.
Update November 14: After using this for most of this year I have to say this is the sharpest lens and best rendering lens I own. It is sublime. CA can be a headache from 1.4 - 2.8 on high contrast objects and scenes. This is the only weakness, and easily fixed in PP.
