positive:Tack sharp, great contrast even wide open, solid build, metal focus ring, fast focusing, etc. Best 50mm I've ever used!
negative:Slight CA at wide apertures. As others have stated, plastic lens hood and filter ring..
comment:I never thought I'd pay this much for a 50mm, but it was completely worth it! This lens can be shot wide open and still be tack sharp with great contrast. I'm putting this right up there with my CZ 135mm 1.8. :)
Yes, I've noticed the CA when shooting wide open, but it isn't something that really bothers me. It can easily be dealt with in post.
