ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony A DT 2.8/16-50mm SSM
price paid:unknown
positive:G-label, sharp from aperture 2.8, I can`t tell the difference in sharpness to aperture 11, lens produces beautiful sun stars, surprisingly lightweight compared to the A DT 16-50mm, fokus-hold-button and AF/MF-switch, weather sealing, the slightly longer focal length in the telephoto-range is very welcome!
negative:No OSS, flare control can be a problem, especially with larger angles of view.
comment:Even better and more useful than my loved Sony A DT 16-50mm, for me the best APS-C zoom lens from Sony so far, possibly the best APS-C lens from Sony ever. A "must have" for every Sony APS-C-shooter!
